News from January TWICT meetingAt its meeting on 10th January the TWICT board discussed future strategies for on-street kiosks and investigated 'the Sunderland Model' for wireless infrastructure as part of a consideration of wireless strategies. Also considered were links with universities, corporate value for money indicators, next generation broadband access and data centres. |

News from TWICT December meetingThe TWICT partnership met on 13th December. GJ gave a presentation on trends in web services development that were collectively known as ‘Web 2.0’. Key to changes were that end users are now participating in content creation, that the speed of application development and ease of integration now mean it is more straightforward to create new web services and that users can choose how, when and through what method they access services. |
