Dynamo North East is the industry-led body for IT companies and IT departments in North East England. Here is a round up of some the things Dynamo’s doing that schools might be interested in.
IT Apprenticeships | Dynamo Established a pre-apprenticeship 15 week full time level 2 course with Baltic Training. If participants successfully complete the 15week course they can apply for a year-long level 3 apprenticeship.
95% of participants have progressed from level 2 to level 3 (national average is 85%). The initiative started in February last year so has not yet completed a cycle. Once it has (around June / July) we should be able to draw stats on how many participants went on to full time employment.
