CloudCamp comes to the North East
Following the success of previous events in London and the US, CloudCamp is coming to Newcastle upon Tyne on Tuesday 24 March 2009. This unconference is a free event - even the beer and pizza is free! So register at www.cloudcamp.com/north-east-england/ now to be sure of a place.
CloudCamp North East will take place at the Beehive in Newcastle University from 6pm to 10pm on Tuesday 24 March. The initial program of 5-minute lighting bolt presentations is still being finalised, but this is how it's looking so far:

- 'Just Another Architecture?' - Joe Baguley, CTO of Quest Software
- ‘Bootstrap and transition, how to use cloudcomputing to get your business started' - Ross Cooney, CEO of Rozmic
- 'Cloud Routemaster' - Alex Heneveld, CTO of CloudSoft
- ‘Cloudcomputing for service providers' - Arvid Fossen of Aserver
- ‘The approach to security and how we extend an existing enterprise into the cloud' - Chris Purrington of CohesiveFT
These will be followed by a panel discussion where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss topics of particular interest, then it's open networking for all.
Whether you're an expert already or just starting to find out what Cloud Computing is all about, this is the place to find out about new developments, trends and analyses within the industry, take part in discussions and enjoy some top quality networking with the Cloud crowd.
