A drop in event held over two days for people working in a partnership setting

This is a drop in event - When booking opens you will be able to sign up for any sessions you are interested in (you don’t need to attend both days).

Cost: FREE TO ATTEND

At this fun and innovative event you can take part in workshops and seminars on a range of subjects relating to partnerships (see below), network with colleagues, pick up practical tips and advice, get a grasp of the basics or consolidate your knowledge. It’s designed to help people to increase their own contribution to partnership working, and make their partnerships more effective.

The exhibition space will be open throughout the 2 days and most workshop sessions repeated more than once, so you can attend at a time to suit you.

The event caters for a range of people involved in partnerships including:

  • Councillors in a leading role
  • Front line councillors
  • Senior officers
  • Partnership practitioners
  • Those involved at any level of a Local Strategic Partnership
  • Public, private and VCS partners
  • Community Representatives
  • Anyone wishing to find out more about partnerships, LSP’s, LAA’s or MAA’s
The event has been designed so that everyone, regardless of their experience of partnerships will find something to suit them and learn something new.

The event is delivered by The Improvement Partnership for North East Local Government, a partnership of the region’s 25 local authorities and 4 fire and rescue services. Together, we aim to improve local government in the North East Region.
